OUR STORY
N1 Construction Ltd. was established in 2020 by two experienced construction professionals with a dream to create a business built on reputation and confidence. A reputation for providing clients with quality product backed by fine detail and craftsmanship, and confidence from the client that our employees and business are prioritizing your needs and vision.
We are a full service general contractor specializing in small to mid range commercial, and residential projects. We strive to be innovative and forward thinking. Our continual attention to detail provides our clients with the assuredness to trust us throughout the construction process.
Our team consists of industry professionals with vast construction knowledge. Our full time office staff are all graduates of Architecture - Construction Engineering Technology programs. We have red seal certified carpenters on site, and general carpentry apprentices. We are proud members of the GVCA and CFIB, and are a co-operative employer through Conestoga College.
N1 Construction Ltd. operates out of North Waterloo, Ontario and are proud to serve Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding communities.
Neil Duncan - President & CEO
Neil is N1 Construction Ltd.'s President and CEO. He is the client's first point of contact and primarily responsible for management of all projects. Neil's involvement with Kitchener-Waterloo construction begun as a co-op student, and subsequently graduate of the Architecture - Construction Engineering Technology program at Conestoga College (2010). He spent 10 years at midsized ICI General Contracting company in a supervisory role prior to founding N1 Construction Ltd.
Matthew is N1 Construction Ltd.'s Vice President and General Site Superintendent. He is a Red Seal Certified Carpenter (2015) responsible for the company's complex construction, in addition to overseeing our projects on site. Matthew has 15 years of experience in the construction industry with midsized commercial and residential companies. As a licensed carpenter, Matthew was self-employed for many years prior to founding N1 Construction Ltd. with Neil. He specializes in total residential construction from start to finish.
